Romantic Spring Wedding at Hotel du Village in New Hope, PA | Madeline and Brendan

Madeline and Brendan’s Hotel du Village wedding was the kind of day you hope for when planning a spring celebration in New Hope.

Soft blues, crisp whites, a garden-inspired floral palette by We Are Wildflowers, and a warm, supportive circle of family and friends made this day incredibly special. From the moment we began working together, it was clear that Madeline and Brendan had a strong vision—refined, romantic, and joy-filled. Their kindness, clarity, and genuine excitement for the process made planning a total joy.  I also have to give a special shout-out to Madeline’s mom, who was deeply involved in the planning—in the most supportive, thoughtful, and collaborative way.

Hotel du Village in New Hope, PA remains one of my favorite venues for weddings like this—full of charm, with incredible getting ready spaces, elegant ballrooms, and outdoor spots that feel tucked away in nature. Early April can be a little unpredictable weather-wise, but the day shaped up beautifully—perfectly comfortable for an outdoor ceremony and warm enough to enjoy those springtime garden vibes they were hoping for. Add in a top-tier vendor team—including Hillside Photo and Film capturing the whole day, Vivace Live for ceremony and cocktail hour music, Baker Event Co. on the DJ front, and beauty by Something You—and it was just a dream to see it all come together.

The couple got ready on-site in the beautiful suites at Hotel du Village, which is always such a peaceful way to start the day. Everyone was in great spirits, and the whole morning had that calm, excited energy that makes this work so special.

Madeline chose to get dressed with just her mom—such a quiet and meaningful moment between the two of them—before sharing a series of intentional and emotional first looks. First, her bridesmaids, followed by her dad, then her grandfather (which had everyone nearby in tears), and finally, Brendan. Each one felt like a chance to pause and connect before the day unfolded, and I loved how much care was put into each moment.

Portraits and wedding party photos took place throughout the property, with Hillside Photo and Film capturing everything beautifully. From the garden views to the charming architecture and spring blooms, the whole setting felt romantic and timeless. The florals by We Are Wildflowers were the perfect match—soft, natural, and full of movement. They added just the right amount of texture and color to the already beautiful surroundings.

The ceremony took place outside on the side patio, and although the weather had been a bit uncertain leading up to the day, it ended up being perfectly comfortable for their guests. Vivace Live provided the ceremony and cocktail hour music, which added an elegant and elevated touch to the atmosphere. But what made the ceremony truly unforgettable was that it was officiated by Madeline’s brother. He struck the perfect balance of sentimental and engaging, creating a ceremony that felt deeply personal and full of heart.

Dinner followed later in the evening in the Colt Ballroom, where long tables, soft blue accents, and classic details created a timeless reception vibe. Thoughtful toasts, a delicious meal, and a joyful atmosphere carried everyone through the evening.

And that Sweetheart Table decor… 😍

When it was time to transition to the Historic Ballroom for dessert and dancing, the energy kicked up a notch—and so did the fashion. Madeline surprised everyone with an outfit change that was both fun and fabulous, and she was ready to hit the dance floor.

With Baker Event Co. keeping the dance floor packed and a steady stream of late-night treats and coffee, guests truly danced the night away. It was the perfect blend of elegance, ease, and celebration—and an absolute honor to be part of.

Hiring Danielle was the best decision we made for our wedding.

She held our hands through the entire process with her organization, responsiveness, and gentle pushing where necessary.

She was patient with us when we had questions or needed to talk through ideas.

On the wedding day, we were able to enjoy every moment without worrying about any details, trusting Danielle and her team were handling everything.

Wedding planning can be an emotional rollercoaster, but we will certainly cherish the memories of planning our big day thanks to Danielle’s help.
